When I connect from the client, I log in, and it opens an RDC window on to the host with the Vista Business logo on a blue background and the text "The system cannot find the file specified.
I've run the repair utility on the DVD but it didn't find any problems. I didn't want to restore to an earlier point. I've tried googling the error message and remote desktop connection issues, but the results are all swamped with connection problems. I've looked in installed programs on control panel, and Windows options to try and see if I can uninstall and re-install but it's not there. Is there any way to do this?
Or any way to work out which file RDP can't find? Nothing has changed on my PC- I've not installed any new software or changed any security settings, apart from letting the normal MS updates trickle through. I think this is just a case of some files have got damaged, but I need to know which ones and how to fix them!
