Vista home basic is really basic, not even static content module I surely would not have purchased a Windows Vista Home Basic, but it came along with the computer. I've been programming in VBS in another environment and I really enjoy it. I'd love to be able to use these existing skills for ASP.

OK I have now found out something that made it possible for me to run the aspdotnet module for the latest version of Apache2 so not being able to run IIS is no-longer a problem. You must be referring to the Mono project. I've never heard of anyone actually using it. If you get it working, I'd be curious to hear your opinions. There are other things, but ASP. Not really. However I am aware of the mono project's existance.
I had thought it to be for non-windows platforms ONLY, but apparently it is available for Windows also. I had previously believed it was not available for Apache2 version 2.
