Is there anything else that needs to be installed for this to work? Uninstall any wwan drivers that you may have installed but put on the wwan with smart network or smart wi.

I just tried pointing device manager to the "Qualcomm" folder in my C Drive in order to install the driver for the WWAN card and it says: "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it.

Thanks very much. Which carrier image you are using now? I just bought a cheap SIM to test the service and use it in case of emergency. I have virtually everywhere I work access to Wifi, even in the trains here its for free When I update my Vodafone subscription, I'll probably take a double sim for both phone and laptop.
